How to Play Sonic Advance 2
Quick start
Press START, choose GAME START and select Sonic to begin Leaf Forest Zone Act 1. Your first goal is to reach the Goal Bar within ten minutes. Collect rings for protection and maintain top speed over slopes and boosters to enter Boost Mode. Just after launching from a ramp, spring or rail, use a direction plus R for extra height or distance. On a first run, prioritise a safe finish before trying to collect every Special Ring.
Controls
Menus: D-pad selects, A confirms, B cancels. Common actions: Left/Right moves, Down crouches or rolls while running, hold Down+A then release for a Spin Dash, A jumps, B uses the character action, a direction+R performs an aerial trick after a ramp, spring or rail, and START pauses. Sonic presses A again in midair for a Double Spin or nearby-enemy Homing Attack and B in midair to Bound. Cream taps A to fly and uses B to send Cheese at enemies.
