How to Play Sonic Advance 3
Quick start
Press START on the title screen and select "MAIN GAME" → "SINGLE PLAYER". At first, the easy-to-understand structure is to proceed to Route 99 with Sonic as the control character and Tails as your partner. On the map, go to the right from the factory ring, break the obstacles on the floor, step on the switch below, and use the spring and chain that appear to enter the ACT 1 ring. In ACT, aim for the goal while maintaining at least one ring, and collect any Chao you find. If you can't reach the height, keep pressing R, and when an orange ring appears and Tails is ready, release on the ground to make a big jump, and release in the air to use flight.
Controls
Cross button left and right: walk/run. Above: Look up. Bottom: Crouch, spin while running. A: Decision, jump/attack/climb in flight. B: Cancellation, special attack depending on team composition. Long press and release R: Tag action with partner. The corresponding team performs a trick action by pressing R + direction input in the air. START: Pause. SELECT: Ciao map display. Use the cross button to select the menu, press A to confirm, and press B to return.
