How to Play Space Invaders EX
Quick start
At the title screen, press START, choose 1 Player then Normal difficulty for a first game. The campaign begins on Pluto. Move the Tank to the bottom of the screen, eliminate each formation before it reaches the ground and take cover behind the barriers, which are gradually destroyed. Destroying four Invaders of the same type in a row charges a special single-use weapon: don't break the streak with another target and save this shot for a dense wave or the boss. Complete the Pluto waves and boss to head to Neptune. Completing the campaign on Normal unlocks Classic mode.
Controls
The left/right directional pad moves the Tank. A fires with the normal barrel; B uses the stored special weapon when the energy gauge is ready. START pauses the game. In the menus, move the selection with the cross, validate with A and go back with B. In Classic mode unlocked, use left/right, A to shoot and START to pause; the campaign's special weapons system is not used there.
