How to Play Space Invaders EX
Quick start
Press START at the title screen, choose 1 Player, and use Normal difficulty for the first campaign. The opening world is Pluto. Move the Tank along the bottom, clear every descending formation before it reaches the ground, and use the barriers as temporary cover from enemy fire. Try to destroy four Invaders of the same type in succession: this earns a one-use special weapon, which is best saved for a dense wave or the planet boss. Clear Pluto's waves and boss to continue inward through the Solar System. Classic Mode is not a starting option; it unlocks after completing Normal difficulty.
Controls
Use Left/Right on the Control Pad to move the Tank. A fires the standard shot, while B spends the stored one-use power-up when its energy bar is ready. START pauses. In menus, use the Control Pad to highlight an item, A to select it, and B to return. Classic Mode uses the same essential left/right movement, A fire, and START pause controls, without the campaign's special-weapon system.
