How to Play Spider-Man
Quick start
From the main menu, choose START, select one of the three save slots, and enter three initials. The opening stage, Crime Spree!, is a timed rescue: head right through the city and free all four hostages before continuing to the far-right exit. The stage pauses to teach the basics, beginning with A to jump and A again in midair to web-swing; watch the flashing Spider-Sense for danger, secrets, and nearby objectives.
Controls
D-Pad Left/Right moves; Down crouches, while Up or A jumps. Press A again in midair to web-swing. B attacks, and repeated presses form combos. L fires a web-line that can be aimed with the D-Pad; R uses the currently equipped web-up. Press Select when the flashing camera icon appears to take a level photo, and Start pauses the game.
