Play SpongeBob SquarePants: SuperSponge (US edition · English) Online

Press START, choose Start New Game, and enter Chapter 1's first level, Jelly Fields. Move right through the platforming route, use A for jumps and B's karate chop when an enemy blocks a safe landing, then collect the sparkling Jellyfish Jelly quest item at the end to finish the level. Golden Spatulas are optional collectibles; the GBA manual awards an extra life at 50, so gather easy clusters but do not risk the quest item for a difficult pickup. New tools explain themselves when collected: use the jellyfishing net on nearby jellyfish and save captured shots for enemies or distant switches.

Use Left/Right on the D-pad to move and Up/Down to look. A jumps and selects a menu item. B performs the karate chop, uses the equipped tool's main action, or returns from a menu. START pauses. L displays SpongeBob's status, including health, current item, remaining uses, lives, and spatulas. Tool controls are contextual: with the jellyfishing net, R captures a jellyfish and B launches it; with the coral blower, R sucks up shells and B fires the stored shell; with the bubble wand, R creates a bubble platform. Follow each pickup's on-screen prompt for tools introduced later.
