How to Play Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs
Quick start
Press START at the title screen and begin a New Game. Follow the prompts in the Virtual Training Area to practice jumping, gliding, flaming and charging, then defeat Butler to reach Dragon Shores. Once free to explore, press L+R to check the map and speak to Elder Terry, the large pink dragon northeast of the pineapple marker; his stolen-toys request begins the first Heart of Dragon Shores quest. Talk to every named character, collect nearby gems and revisit blocked routes after earning new breath powers or equipment.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move and navigate menus. A jumps; press A again while airborne to glide. B uses the selected breath, and some later breath attacks can be charged by holding B. R charges forward. SELECT changes the active breath. START opens the pause menu, L+R displays the area map, and L+START opens the Journal. After obtaining the Phoenix Glasses, L+A reveals hidden teleporters. In Sgt. Byrd stages, tap A repeatedly to fly, press B to fire his guns, and press L or R to drop a missile.
