How to Play Spyro: Season of Ice
Quick start
Select New Game to start in Autumn Fairy Home. Go up and right to the blue ice crystal and flame it to release Gabrielle, the first fairy. Search the hub before entering Lava Prairie: free the remaining nearby fairies, flame all eight pumpkins for another rescue, and collect gems while charging through barrels and vases. Lava Prairie is the first available portal; there, rescue fairies and complete its tasks, including destroying eight pink flowers. Clear each area carefully, as a fall or loss of all health restarts the level even though rescued fairies and collected gems remain recorded.
Controls
Use the Control Pad to move and navigate menus. A jumps; press A again in mid-air to glide, then press A once more during the glide to hover and finish it. B breathes fire and cancels menu choices. R charges. Hold L and use the Control Pad to look around. START opens the pause menu, whilst SELECT opens the Atlas to review totals. Sparx indicates Spyro's health; flame small creatures and collect the butterfly they release to recover health.
