Choose Adventure Mode at the title screen and begin the opening ‘Departing from home’ route. Follow the dialogue and path to Ice Cream Island, then reach the stable, learn the care activities and complete the Riding Camp mini-games before setting out on the rescue journey. In the timed riding trials, steer around water and bushes and take the fence approaches cleanly; outside the course, follow each clue and collect the items and power-ups needed to rescue the animals. Keep up with the horse-care prompts, because a neglected horse becomes sad and tired.

Use the Control Pad to move in the side-scrolling sections, navigate menus and steer the horse on the isometric courses. The activities display their own action prompts; use the indicated A or B button for the current interaction, jump or care task. START opens the pause menu. No stable L, R or SELECT function is stated here: the priority archives had no readable GBA booklet, and the inspected GBA pages and videos did not document a single reliable shoulder-button layout across every mini-game.
