How to Play Strawberry Shortcake: Ice Cream Island Riding Camp
Quick start
In the title screen, choose Adventure mode and start leaving home. Follow the dialogues and the path to the Land of Ice Cream, join the stable, learn horse care then complete the mini-games at the equestrian center before setting off on a rescue mission. During timed courses, go around water and bushes and approach barriers straight on; off the course, follow the clues and collect the objects and bonuses necessary to rescue the animals. Respond regularly to requests for care, because a neglected horse becomes sad and tired.
Controls
The directional cross is used to move through side passages, navigate menus and direct the horse in events in isometric view. Each activity displays its own instruction: use A or B when the screen indicates the corresponding action, jump or treatment. START opens the pause menu. No fixed function of L, R or SELECT is invented here: no readable GBA booklet has been found and the GBA pages and videos consulted do not give a single configuration valid for all the mini-games.
