How to Play Tekken Advance
Quick start
Choose ARCADE and one of the nine starting fighters; this mode has eight regular opponents followed by the boss. New players should open PRACTICE first and learn a short B-button punch string, an A-button kick string and the R throw, then block an attack and punish the recovery instead of attacking continuously. Clear ARCADE with all nine starting fighters to unlock the hidden fighter.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right moves; Down crouches, double-tap a horizontal direction to dash or back-step, and tap Up or Down then return to neutral to sidestep. B punches, A kicks and R throws; combine directions with attacks for each fighter’s moves and strings. L or SELECT tags in 3 ON 3 modes. START pauses. Hold away or remain neutral to guard high and mid attacks; down-back guards low.
