How to Play Texas Hold 'Em Poker
Quick start
Press START on the title screen, choose Quick Play, then select a single match or quick tournament and set the table rules. For a first game, limit betting makes the stakes easier to follow. Every hand starts with two private cards; use the betting menu to check or call when the price is modest, and fold weak starting cards instead of paying through the flop, turn and river. The first objective is to make the strongest five-card hand from your two cards and the five community cards, or force every rival to fold. When comfortable, choose Career: win five winner-takes-all matches, pass four city tournaments and reach the Las Vegas championship, noting the password shown so you can continue later.
Controls
Use the D-Pad to navigate menus and betting choices; when setting a wager, Left/Right reduces or raises the chip total. A confirms the selected option or bet, while B cancels and returns to the preceding screen. R changes the table view. START opens the Pause menu during a hand; select Resume to continue or use the available menu options to leave the current game. SELECT and L have no assigned function.
