How to Play The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age
Quick start
Choose a new game, choose a good campaign and start the basic tutorial with the power of Isildur. Follow the instructions on each screen to select your unit and move to range and attack. The short tutorial is designed to be completed in two turns. Check mission objectives and point requirements with START, then use regular units to screen and capture positions.
Controls
The D-pad scrolls the combat field and navigates menus. Select a unit or option, concentrate the unit, and start moving or attacking. B cancels. L and R jumps between valid hero placement locations. SELECT ends the current turn and advances the combat phase. START opens mission objectives, unit information, glossary, options, and quilt commands.
