Choose New Game and watch Ishii explain the Five Elemental Swords. The first training-like area teaches the basics as you move right, climb steps and cut the enemy, beehive and pot. Each land contains four stages and a Shogun boss; search breakable objects and side routes for scrolls that teach stronger attacks, then revisit cleared stages when a later ability opens a secret. Preserve the 16-character password between sessions. A stage earns Honours for full health, every item or every enemy, but learning the route is more important on the first pass.
