How to Play Thunderbirds
Quick start
Choose START for a new game. On the world map, move the cursor to a marked point and press A to read its information, then A again to reach the password screen. Record the number and press START to launch. Move with the Control Pad and fire with A. Collect L, E and O upgrades; after obtaining an orbital device, use B to change its available formation.
Controls
Control Pad: move your craft or the menu cursor. A fires; B changes the supporting pods' formation. START pauses during play and launches from the mission's password screen. SELECT is unused. On the map, press A for information and A again for the password screen. For password entry, move between fields with the Control Pad, enter numbers with A and press START to begin. Orbital formations require both a pod and the matching configuration.
Thunderbirds — About this game
Thunderbirds combines scrolling shooting with a mission map. You deploy in craft suited to the selected location, fight through different environments and collect life, energy and orbital-device upgrades. Orbital configurations change where your supporting fire goes, helping cover enemies approaching from other directions. The campaign has a 60-day deadline, and repairs consume precious days. New information reveals further missions, so progress is not just a fixed sequence of stages: limiting damage and deciding which available mission to tackle are part of defeating Hood.
