Only Operation 01: Flying Gate is available at first; read its briefing and build a four-person team. A practical opening squad is three Assault operatives plus one Recon operative, whose heartbeat sensor reveals nearby enemies as red dots on the map. Enter the New York museum through the main door, rescue the hostages and neutralize every terrorist. Use L+B beside a hostage to make that person follow, check SELECT for the map, and escort hostages to the red extraction rectangle. Move as a group behind an Assault leader and reload only when nearly empty because a partly used magazine is discarded.

D-Pad moves in eight directions and moves the crosshair in manual aim; hold L while moving to strafe. A reloads and B fires; holding B with a grenade increases throw distance. L+A crouches, L+B performs context actions such as opening doors, rescuing hostages, defusing bombs or using terminals, and R+A changes weapon (or enters sniper mode; R exits it). L+R+A cycles controlled team members. Double-tap L to toggle the whole team between follow and hold; double-tap R to order one nearby operative. SELECT opens the map and START pauses to mission status. Menus use D-Pad, A confirm and B cancel. Control Set 2 swaps A and B.
