Play Tweety & the Magic Gems (Japan edition · Japanese) Online

Select single player mode on the title screen and select New Start, which corresponds to "START NEW GAME". Decide on the number of CPUs, select your favorite character from the six Looney Tunes, and set the speed at which Tweety turns to stone. Slow settings are easier to play the first time. The starting position is random on the world board. The first goal is to gather the power of five magical gems before Tweety is completely turned to stone. Check the world map in the bottom right and the compass showing the nearest jewel city, open the card icon and press A once to shuffle, press once again to decide the number of moves. Use the cross button to take the shortest route, and A in cities. Earn character points in the red square mini-games, and prioritize items that are useful for movement and gem defense.

Cross button: Move character, move menu/map cursor. A: Deciding, entering the city, shuffling and drawing cards, the main actions of each mini-game. B: Cancelled. Depending on the mini-game, it can also be used for rocket launches, red flags, and picking up logs. L/R: Enlarge/reduce the world map. START: Pause/Resume. SELECT: Normally not used. Check the rules displayed at the start of the mini-game and follow the operations for each event, such as hitting A repeatedly, cross button + A, A + B. Communication battles require 2 to 4 people using a GBA dedicated communication cable, and a main unit and cartridge for each player. There's also a mini-game practice mode and a jukebox to listen to music.
