At the title screen, press START, choose New Game, then start the Prison Escape intro. The Frills attempt to free Boss Cass: cross the prison, eliminate enemies with boomerangs, use the mechanisms and platforms presented along the way, then reach the final confrontation of this sequence. Menus: Up/Down at the cross selects an option, A validates and B returns to the previous screen. Platform levels: the cross moves Ty and directs his actions; A jumps; in the air, press and hold A again to hover when both boomerangs are available; B throws a boomerang. Hold L and choose a direction at the cross to change boomerangs. Hold R then use the cross to observe your surroundings. START pauses the game and opens the game screen. The GBA version also includes vehicle combat on the map and Bunyip sequences, but the sources consulted do not give a reliable table of controls specific to these modes; no orders for the living room versions are therefore taken back.
