On the language screen, choose Italian, then press START at the title. Select one of the three save slots, choose Start Game and confirm with A. After two short instruction screens, the Danger Room with Wolverine begins: proceed to the right, eliminate the guards and reach the virtual Saber Tooth. Wait for the barrage of claws to finish, hit once or twice with B and walk away; when he starts to jump and charge, dodge and counterattack during the pause.

Menu: Use the D-pad to move the cursor and A to confirm. In game, Left/Right moves and Down makes you crouch; A skips; B attacks, repeated B does the melee series, A followed by B attacks in the air, Up+B strikes upwards and Down+B strikes downwards. Press B and then away from the enemy for Wolverine/Colossus' grapple, Iceman's ice throw, or Nightcrawler's tail throw. A+B performs Wolverine/Colossus' power attack, ice projectile, or teleportation, depending on the character. R activates the charged attack. Tap L to move to the next X-Man in the queue; hold L to stop the action and choose Wolverine with Right, Iceman with Left, Colossus with Down or Nightcrawler with Up when unlocked. START opens the break; Continue resumes and Quit returns to the main menu. SELECT does not have a function assigned in the GBA guide.
