Play X-Men: The Official Game (US edition · English) Online

At the title screen, press START, choose one of the three save slots, select Start Game, and confirm with A. Two short text tutorial screens lead straight into the Danger Room as Wolverine. Move right, defeat the guards, and reach Virtual Sabretooth at the end of the room. When he finishes a six-slash string, step in for one or two B-button hits and retreat; after his pattern changes, jump over his rushes and punish the pause instead of trading blows.

Menus: use the D-Pad to highlight an option and A to confirm. In play, Left/Right moves and Down crouches; A jumps; B attacks, repeated B performs a melee string, A then B attacks in mid-air, Up+B attacks upward, and Down+B attacks downward. Press B and then the D-Pad away from an enemy for Wolverine/Colossus throws, Iceman's ice launch, or Nightcrawler's tail toss. A+B performs a strong attack for Wolverine/Colossus, an ice projectile for Iceman, or teleport for Nightcrawler. R activates the charge attack. Tap L for the next queued X-Man; hold L to freeze the action and choose Wolverine with Right, Iceman with Left, Colossus with Down, or unlocked Nightcrawler with Up. START pauses; choose Continue to resume or Quit to return to the Main Menu. SELECT has no assigned action in the GBA walkthrough.
