Play X2: Wolverine's Revenge (US edition · English) Online

At the Main Menu, select an empty SLOT 1-4 marked NEW GAME, choose a difficulty, and begin Act 1, Canadian Wilderness: Revenge Awakening. Easy grants more lives and continues while enemies take fewer hits; Normal is the default. Follow Xavier's tutorial messages and travel mostly right across the rope bridges. The first stage ends with a group of Hellfire mercenaries: keep them on one side, avoid being surrounded, and knock them into the pit when it is safe. The module on the first house roof is meant for a later visit after obtaining Wall Cling.

Menus: use the D-Pad to move the cursor, A to select, B to cancel, and START to select or resume; on Level Select the manual specifically says Up/Down then B to play an Act. In play, Left/Right walks, Down crouches, and holding Up or Down for two seconds looks above or below. A jumps. L sheathes or unsheathes the claws. With claws sheathed, B punches, B while moving gives a forward punch, B in the air kicks, and B while crouched gives a low kick; with claws out, the same inputs become slashes. Press B three times for a combo. With claws sheathed, Up+B performs a stealth attack on an unaware humanoid. R uses acquired powers: hold R plus Left/Right to dash, press A while dashing for a running jump, B while dashing for a dash attack, or R while crouching to slide. Later Wall/Ceiling Cling moves require their power-ups and unsheathed claws. START pauses; SELECT is unused.
