How to Play Dragon Power
Quick start
Move with the D-pad, jump with A and attack with B. Search side paths for food because the power gauge drains over time. Once Kamehameha is obtained and shell ammunition is available, hold B until Goku takes the charging pose, then press A without releasing B. In side-view fights, crouch and press B for a low punch, or press B during a jump to kick.
Controls
D-pad moves Goku; Down crouches in side-view fights. A jumps. B punches or uses the Power Pole. For Kamehameha, hold B until the charging pose, keep B held and press A. Press B while jumping to kick and Down+B to punch low. SELECT chooses CONTINUE on the title screen. START begins or pauses play.
Dragon Power — About this game
Dragon Ball: Le Secret du dragon is the French NES localization of Shenlong no Nazo. It retains the Dragon Ball characters and setting while alternating overhead exploration, travel scenes, hidden areas and side-view fights. Goku punches or uses the Power Pole, searches for food and capsules, and gathers the seven Dragon Balls with Bulma and friends. The first six stages adapt the early quest; stages 7 through 10 introduce an original attacking army. Unlike the heavily altered US Dragon Power edition, this French release preserves the licensed identity and French text.
