How to Play Dragon Power
Quick start
Move with the D-pad, jump with A and attack with B. Prioritize food and exits because power drains continuously. After obtaining the Kamehameha, collect shell ammunition, hold B until Goku takes the charging pose, then press A while still holding B. In side-view fights, Down+B attacks low and B during a jump kicks. At the title screen, SELECT switches to CONTINUE after a game over.
Controls
D-pad moves Goku; Down crouches in side-view fights. A jumps. B punches or thrusts the Power Pole. Kamehameha: hold B to enter the charging pose, keep B held and press A. Press B during a jump to kick and Down+B to punch low. SELECT chooses CONTINUE at the title. START begins and pauses the game.
Dragon Power — About this game
Dragon Ball: Shenlong no Nazo is the original Japanese Famicom version of the action adventure later localized as Dragon Power and Le Secret du dragon. It shifts among overhead exploration, travel stages, hidden areas and side-view fights. Goku meets Bulma, Master Roshi, Oolong and Yamcha, finds the Power Pole and eventually learns the Kamehameha. His power drains with both damage and time, making food as important as combat. Six stages follow the early Dragon Ball quest, followed by four game-original stages against a mysterious army and another hunt for the seven balls.
