How to Play ESPN Winter X-Games Snowboarding 2
Quick start
Press START at the title screen, choose Superpipe, Snowboarder X or Big Air, then select one of 13 professional riders. Superpipe rewards alternating lip jumps and linked tricks; Snowboarder X begins on Course 1 and requires every gate pair; Big Air totals your tricks from three kickers. Use the first Snowboarder X course to practise steering, edging and charged ollies, avoid obstacles that add time and establish a safe landing before extending a trick combination.
Controls
Menus: D-pad selects, A confirms/continues and B cancels/returns. Riding: D-pad left/right turns; A jumps or ollies—hold and release A for a larger jump; B edges for a sharper turn, has a stronger effect when held and brakes when used without turning. START pauses with Back to Main Menu, Retry and Continue. Directions combined with A, B, L and R perform the tricks listed in the manual's command tables.
