How to Play S.C.A.T.: Special Cybernetic Attack Team
Quick start
Choose one or two players with SELECT and press START. Move in all four directions, hold B to fire, and tap A when the satellites point toward the lane you want covered. Keep the hero away from walls and bullets while the locked satellites handle awkward angles. Take S only until movement remains controllable; L pierces, W spreads, B adds explosive power, and R restores energy.
Controls
D-pad flies up, down, left, and right. B fires; compatible weapons continue firing while held. A locks or unlocks the twin satellites' firing position, allowing them either to orbit or maintain a chosen angle. START pauses. At the title screen, SELECT chooses one- or two-player mode and START confirms. Both players use the same layout on their own controllers.
S.C.A.T.: Special Cybernetic Attack Team — About this game
Action in New York is the European edition of Natsume's side-scrolling shooter known as Final Mission in Japan and S.C.A.T. in North America. A cybernetic soldier can move freely around the screen while twin satellites orbit nearby, letting you lock their firing angle to attack above, below, or behind. Fight through five stages from ruined New York to the alien platform, collect speed, laser, wide-shot, bomb, and recovery items, and use the two-player option for coordinated fire. This record is the PAL European cartridge, not the US title screen.
