How to Play S.C.A.T.: Special Cybernetic Attack Team
Quick start
Select one or two players, then press START. Move carefully with the D-pad, fire with B, and watch the two satellites rotate. Press A when they point towards the most dangerous approach, then reposition the hero while they hold that angle. Take only enough speed to dodge comfortably, use wide fire for crowds and laser for lined-up targets, and preserve recovery items for the later stage sections.
Controls
D-pad moves freely in four directions. B fires the current weapon and can be held for continuous fire with supported upgrades. A toggles the twin satellites between orbiting and a locked firing direction. START pauses. SELECT changes the one-/two-player choice on the title screen and START confirms. Player two uses the same controls on the second controller.
S.C.A.T.: Special Cybernetic Attack Team — About this game
Final Mission is the Japanese Famicom original later adapted as S.C.A.T. in North America and Action in New York in Europe. The cybernetic hero floats freely while two satellites rotate around the body, and locking their angle lets you fire into otherwise exposed directions. Cross five stages from devastated New York to the orbital platform, collect speed, laser, wide, bomb, and recovery items, and challenge the invasion solo or with a partner. This Japanese build is known for harsher balance than the western releases and retains its original title and presentation.
