How to Play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Quick start
Enter a building from the opening map, then use A to jump and B to attack in the side-view room. Start with Donatello when you need safe reach, but open the START information screen and switch before any turtle runs out of health. SELECT toggles between the signature weapon and a collected secondary weapon. Explore short branches for pizza and memorize which exits return to useful streets. At the dam, tap A to swim, keep away from electric gates and seaweed, and touch all bombs before the timer ends.
Controls
D-pad: move on maps, move or duck in side-view rooms, and steer underwater. A: variable-height jump; tap repeatedly to swim. B: attack with the active weapon. A+B: jumping attack. START: pause/open the information screen and change turtles. SELECT: toggle regular and secondary weapons. Party Wagon: A fires the Vulcan cannon, B launches missiles, SELECT exits.

Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles is the European release of the NES action adventure starring Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello. Overhead maps connect buildings and sewers that become side-view combat and platforming stages. Each turtle carries a different weapon and keeps a separate health bar, so preserving the entire roster through timely switches is a core system. Across six areas the team rescues allies, disarms timed bombs beneath the Hudson dam, travels in the Party Wagon, and searches for the hidden Technodrome. Pizza restores health, secondary weapons add range, and ropes cross selected gaps, but route knowledge and choosing the right turtle for a narrow or dangerous room decide most encounters.
