How to Play Golden Sun
Quick start
Press START, enter Isaac's name with the cross and A, then choose END. The prologue begins during Val's storm: follow the inhabitants south to escape the rock, and use A in front of people and objects. Three years later, save as soon as the party is formed, equip the finds and deal with the Djinn. An associated Djinn changes class and Psynergy; released into battle, he prepares a summon, so avoid unequipping the whole party at once.
Controls
The directional cross moves the group, even diagonally, and navigates the menus. Hold B to run; B also undoes or scrolls the text. A speaks, examines, opens field commands and validates. L/R uses Psynergy shortcuts; on the R map displays the world, and combat statistics. SELECT opens the field commands and START the pause menu.
