At Machine Check, Select highlights equipment, A selects it, and Start begins the drive. Missiles and lasers cannot fire when their ammunition is empty.
Knight Rider — About this game
Knight Rider turns the television partnership of Michael Knight and KITT into a driving shooter for the NES. Mission briefings lead into Machine Check, where you select equipment before taking to the highway. On the road, the race to the next confrontation is constrained by fuel, shields, and time. Weapons let you fight back, but firing indiscriminately at civilian cars carries a penalty. Gunfire, missiles, lasers, and a jumping Turbo Boost provide different tools for the chase; conserving the car is just as important as attacking. Drive mode offers the roads without enemy combat.
