How to Play MotoGP
Quick start
Choose Tournament, take one of the three riders available at the start and enter the first league. Your first target is fourth place or better to open the next league. Do not hold A before the starting signal or the rear tyre will spin without a clean launch. Brake before bends instead of keeping the throttle pinned. When the turbo meter at lower left is full, use Down+A on a straight for a wheelie boost; after releasing it the meter must recharge fully, so keep it for a worthwhile straight.
Controls
D-Pad Left/Right steers. A accelerates and B brakes. L shifts down and R shifts up. With a full turbo meter, hold Down on the D-Pad together with A to wheelie and boost. In menus, use the D-Pad to highlight, A to confirm and B to go back. START pauses a race. No dedicated SELECT function was confirmed in the accessible GBA sources.
