How to Play MotoGP
Quick start
Select Tournament from the title screen and enter the first league with the riders available from the beginning. The goal for the first match is to finish in the top 4. If you keep pressing A from the start, you will spin and fall behind, so accelerate according to the signal and decelerate sufficiently with B before the corner. When the turbo meter at the bottom left is full, press the D-pad down + A in a straight line for a long time to use wheelie acceleration. Even if you stop mid-way, you will need to fully charge the battery to use it again, so it is safe to save it for short straight lines.
Controls
Use the left and right cross keys to steer, A to accelerate, B to brake, L to downshift, and R to upshift. A full turbo meter will be consumed when you press and hold down + A on the D-pad to do a wheelie, resulting in high-speed acceleration. Select the menu using the four-way controller, press A to confirm, and press B to return. START is used for race poses. The unique functions of SELECT are not listed because they could not be confirmed in public materials.
