How to Play Scooby-Doo!
Quick start
Press START, start Chapter 1 "Bad for Business" and choose Scooby or Shaggy first. Explore Spooky Island from the isometric view, talk to each character and pay attention to the narrator's clues. Missions often require an item, tokens, or the ability of a specific team member. Scooby and Shaggy are quick scouts; later, Velma solves puzzles, Fred overcomes difficult obstacles and Daphne fights with karate. Collect food before you run out of energy and save tokens for informants. The game automatically saves at important plot points.
Controls
Control pad: move the figure and operate menus. A: jump and confirm. B: bite, attack or perform the current figure action. R: sniff/search with Scooby or use the character's documented search ability. L has no general function in the basic configuration. START: Break. The mini-games Unlock the Chest, Repair the Pipes, Lights Out and Musical Mayhem show their direction and button instructions directly.
