How to Play Scooby-Doo!
Quick start
Press START, begin Chapter One: Bad for Business, and choose Scooby or Shaggy. Explore Spooky Island's isometric rooms, speak to every character and heed the narrator's hints; most missions ask for an item, tokens or a gang member with a particular skill. Scooby and Shaggy are quick explorers, while Velma later solves puzzles, Fred handles heavy obstacles and Daphne uses karate. Pick up food before the energy meter runs out and collect tokens on the ground and in mini-games, as islanders may exchange information for them. Story progress is saved automatically at key points.
Controls
D-pad moves the active character and navigates menus. A jumps and confirms. B bites or performs the active character's attack/action. R makes Scooby sniff/search and serves the current character's documented search ability; L has no general action in the base layout. START pauses. Unlock the Chest, Repair the Pipes, Lights Out and Musical Mayhem show their own directions and button patterns before or during play.
