How to Play Shrek 2: Beg for Mercy!
Quick start
Start the story at Scroll 1, Job Hunt, then enter Into the Forest. Puss begins the first level: run right, collect the first two coins, double-jump over both spike beds, climb the stone rise, and defeat the lone pumpkin. Keep taking the safe upper route and use walls, vines, keys, and doors as the chapter introduces them. Progress normally saves after each completed level; collecting all 40 coins in every level of a chapter unlocks its bonus game.
Controls
Move with the D-pad and jump with A; tap A again in the air for Puss's double jump. B attacks—Puss uses his sword, Shrek punches or handles movable objects, and Donkey kicks. With Puss, L charms and briefly stuns susceptible enemies, R guards and deflects attacks, and Down+B in the air performs a downward sword thrust. START pauses. Puss can also cling to suitable walls, ceilings, vines, and rails as the level geometry allows.
