How to Play Shrek 2
Quick start
Begin a new story and open Book 1, Far, Far Away, Chapter 1. Shrek starts alone: move right, defeat the pumpkins, collect their coins and follow the sign explaining his butt stomp. Press B to lift the wooden block and place it by the ledge, then use the yellow vines and movable mushroom to reach the higher path. Keep right across the gaps to finish. Gathering every coin is worthwhile because a full clear unlocks the bonus minigames.
Controls
Move with the D-pad and jump with A; after equipping a fairy, hold A to hover. B uses the current hero's attack or object action—Shrek lifts and drops objects, while Donkey kicks them. SELECT picks up or equips keys and power-ups. In team chapters, L/R changes hero and holding L+R moves the group together. START pauses. Shrek can butt-stomp and lift, Donkey breaks barriers with kicks, and Puss climbs walls and slides along ropes or vines.
