How to Play Shrek 2
Quick start
Start a new story and enter Book 1, Far, Far Away, Chapter 1. Shrek begins alone: head right, defeat the pumpkins, collect their coins, and follow the sign that teaches his butt stomp. Use B to lift and set down the wooden block beside the ledge, then use the yellow vines and a movable mushroom to reach the upper route. The chapter ends by continuing right past the gaps and remaining enemies. Coins matter because collecting every coin unlocks the bonus minigames.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move and A to jump; hold A after equipping the fairy to hover. B performs the active character's attack or object action—Shrek lifts and drops objects, while Donkey kicks them. SELECT picks up or equips keys and power-ups. In team chapters, L/R switches characters and holding L+R moves the team together. START pauses. Each hero has a distinct ability: Shrek butt-stomps and lifts, Donkey kicks barriers, and Puss climbs walls and slides on ropes or vines.
