How to Play Surf's Up
Quick start
Press START, select Championship, choose a surfer and start the first track in Shiverpool. The track scrolls automatically: use Up/Down to avoid rocks, align yourself with ramps and rails, and collect stars for the boost meter. While in the air, combine B with a direction for one of five tricks and land cleanly. Reach the goal before the three rivals or complete the trick score requirement to unlock the next task.
Controls
In menus you select with the control pad, confirm with A and go back with B. When racing, up/down changes your line on the wave; B plus direction performs an air trick, START pauses. A shoulder button delivers a blow to a nearby rival, but the obtained GBA test does not clearly state L or R; Therefore, please note the note in the tutorial. Stars and extras fill the boost display, ramps, rails and water fountains open up trick routes.
