How to Play Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams
Quick start
Press START on the title screen and begin the main adventure from the main menu. The entrance turns into a guided platform section: run to the right, jump with A and press Down+A in front of the first massive stone wall to teleport through with the spirit of movement. Afterwards, follow Jibolba's clues as more Juju powers are introduced; At an open dream rift you can reach the dream world with R. The first overarching goal is to close the Dream Rifts and find the Staff of Dreams. Keep an eye on the health and mana bar and organize items before difficult passages with L or SELECT.
Controls
D-pad: Tak or move the menu cursor. A: jump and confirm; after learning the spirit of movement, Down+A teleports through the first wall and other designated obstacles. B: Use Thwark and pick up, carry and throw sheep. Hold L: Open inventory; Short press L: use selected item. R: enter the dream world in permitted places. SELECT: Manage inventory. START: pause and open options. In menus, highlight with the control pad, confirm with A and go back with B.
