How to Play Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams
Quick start
Press Start at the title screen and begin the main adventure from the main menu. The opening becomes a guided platforming section: move right, jump with A, and at the first solid stone wall press Down+A to use Spirit of Movement and teleport through it. Keep following Jibolba's instructions as new Juju powers are introduced; when the game presents a dream rift, R enters the Dream World. Your early story goal is to close the dream rifts and pursue the Staff of Dreams. Watch both the health and mana meters, and organise items with L or Select before a difficult section.
Controls
Control Pad: move Tak or the menu cursor. A: jump and confirm; after Spirit of Movement is taught, Down+A teleports through the first wall and other marked obstructions. B: use Thwark; it also picks up, carries and throws sheep. Hold L to access the inventory; tap L to use the selected item. R: enter the Dream World where the game permits it. Select: manage inventory. Start: pause and open Options. In menus, use the Control Pad to highlight an entry, A to confirm and B to go back.
