How to Play The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie
Quick start
At the title screen, press START, choose New Game with the control pad, confirm with START and select the difficulty. The journey to Shell City begins in Bikini Bottom in Level 1-1, Management Material: Guide SpongeBob and Patrick along the timed platform course, learning to jump, run, stomp, glide and use team moves. The objective of the adventure is to recover King Neptune's crown and exonerate Mr. Krabs. Collect the Golden Clams reachable without risk for purchases from Mindy; check the number of buckets before spending Sponge Soak against a dense group of enemies. Note the image password shown after a level: on the map, SELECT displays the current one again.
Controls
Menu: the control panel chooses an option, START confirms and B goes back. Platform levels: the control panel moves SpongeBob and Patrick; hold Down together with Left or Right to swipe. A skips. Hold B to run. R activates Power Charge. L use Sponge Soak if you have a bucket. In the air, after A press Down to crush the ground; press A again after the jump to glide with Parachute Shorts. START pauses. SELECT shows the current password on the map. Sections with the Patty Wagon: the control panel moves the vehicle and A makes it jump.
