At the main menu, choose Career Mode, select a skater, then pick Hangar, Meacham Field, TX on the Level Select screen. Your first accessible target is the Hangar's 10,000-point High Score goal. Hold B to crouch and gain speed, release B to ollie, then add a direction plus L for a flip or a direction plus R for a grab; make sure the board is straight before landing. Link a trick into a manual with Up then Down, but ollie out before the balance marker reaches an edge. Collecting cash and completing goals unlocks levels and pays for stat upgrades and boards. If the timing feels unfamiliar, use Free Skate first: it has no time limit, while Career and Single Session runs last two minutes.

Menus: use the Control Pad to highlight an item; A or START accepts it, and B returns from Level Select. Skating: the skater moves forward automatically. Left/Right turns and balances grinds; Up leans forward, exits a pool, and balances a manual; Down brakes, leans back, and balances a manual. Hold B to crouch and accelerate, then release it to ollie; tap Up then release B for a No Comply, or Up twice then release B for a Boneless. Up then Down starts a manual, while Down then Up starts a nose manual. In the air, a direction plus L performs a flip trick and a direction plus R performs a grab; tap L on the ground to toggle nollie stance and tap R to switch stance. Press A near a rail or edge to grind, direction+A for another grind, or jump and hold A beside a wall to wallride. Hold B while landing a large drop to avoid bailing; rapidly press controls to get up after a fall. START pauses, and SELECT is unused. A, B, L, and R can be reassigned under Options > Control Setup.
