How to Play The Sims 2
Quick start
Select “Create Sim,” enter a name, and choose your appearance, clothing, and career. After the introduction, the first objective is to go up and explore Strangehausen. Leave the house, talk to Dusty Hogg and use the friendly conversation actions until the diamond is filled. Then follow the road north to the pawn shop and buy a bed or shower first if possible. Return as soon as the need for the toilet appears. Keep an eye on needs and the green performance indicator, because unmet needs reduce viewer ratings. With START you can check the current action goals at any time.
Controls
D-Pad: Move Sim and menu pointer. A: confirm, interact, use selected tool or conversation action. B: cancel/back; while running, hold B to run. R: Change tool. L/R: Rotate furniture when setting it up and change status pages. START: Status screen with action goals, characters, items and abilities. SELECT: Pause menu with map, options, save and exit.
