How to Play WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames!
Quick start
At the title screen, press START or A, then enter a name and choose a gender; pressing R on the name screen supplies a random name. A new file goes straight to Wario's introductory set, while a returning file can choose Games > Wario. Read the one-word command before each microgame, then react with the Control Pad, A, or both. The opening set has nine short microgames followed by the Sparring Wario boss; clear the boss before four misses end the run. The first speed-ups arrive after 3 and 6 clears, so identify the command before pressing anything instead of mashing A.
Controls
Menus: Control Pad selects, A confirms, and B cancels; B is not used inside the normal microgames. Microgames: the Control Pad moves, aims, steers, or changes a value, while A performs the prompted action and may need a tap, hold, release, or rapid presses. START pauses; the pause menu offers Continue and Exit, with A or START confirming and B cancelling. On name entry, R chooses a random preset name. L or R fast-forwards certain displays. In unlocked two-player VS subgames on one GBA, Player 1 acts with L and Player 2 with R. The Grid marquee shows the exact input for a previously encountered microgame.
