Play Yu-Gi-Oh! Day of the Duelist: World Championship Tournament 2005 (Europe edition · English / Japanese / French / German / Spanish / Italian) Online

Select NEW GAME on the title screen and press A; CONTINUE appears once automatic save data exists. After the introductory conversation, go to the Shop, take one of the Starter Deck packs and keep the initial 3,000 Duelist Points until you know which cards the deck lacks. In town, face a duellist and press R to start a duel. Begin with unnamed opponents or Tea and avoid Joey or the dog until the deck is stronger. The weekend tournament is unavailable during the first week, so use those days to earn cards and points; register at the Coliseum from the following week and begin collecting the seven event trophies.

D-pad: move on the Field Screen, switch items, move the cursor and scroll text. A: confirm, open menus, send messages, and on the field open a submenu, talk or examine. B: cancel/return; in a duel open the phase-completion menu. R: challenge a character on the field; in a duel read card information or draw during the Draw Phase; in Edit Deck add one card. L: in Edit Deck remove one card. START: in a duel open Options. On the password screen L moves back one digit and R forward; on activation-timing messages R marks all Confirmed and L all Unconfirmed.
